Myrtle Beach named America’s “Best Thrillseeker Beach”

Once again the Travel Channel has named Myrtle Beach one of “America’s Best Beaches.”

For 2006, Myrtle Beach was named America’s Best Thrillseeker Beach, alternately called America’s Most Adrenaline Packed Beach during a show being broadcast in March, April and other times throughout the coming year.

The spot on Myrtle Beach touts the area’s exciting water sports, 100-plus golf courses, Myrtle Beach Speedway (where individuals can tear around the track in a racecar after completing a training class), nightlife and other thrills.

In 2003 Myrtle Beach was named Best Family Beach and one of America’s Top 10 Beaches. Myrtle Beach still maintains a spot on the list of Best Beaches for Families in the United States on the Travel Channel’s Web site.
