AirTrans resumes flights - Myrtle Beach / Atlanta

AirTran Airways is offering two daily, nonstop flights between Myrtle Beach and Atlanta starting April 4 and continuing through Nov. 6.  Two additional flights will be added on May 9, 2006.

“AirTran Airways wants to ensure that golfers across the country have an affordable means of traveling to the public golf capital of the world,” said Kevin Healy, AirTran Airways vice president of planning.  ”Our 717s are ideal for carrying not just lots of golfers, but their clubs as well. We’re pleased to bring our low fare, high quality service back to the Grand Strand and Myrtle Beach community.”

AirTran Airways’ extended service will offer Myrtle Beach business and leisure travelers connections to nearly 50 other cities.
